Red Shield Wireless House Alarm Description

This is our latest addition to the Wireless Burglar Alarms offered by Crime Prevention Products. A very small and neat package that includes two Door or Window Contacts and a PIR Movement Sensor that may be operated either manually by entering your own 4 digit code or by using the Fob included. Absolutely ideal for an apartment or the smaller house or office.

This is a good quality DIY House Alarm system which may be installed in an hour or so by the average person. Simply choose the position for the Main Panel location and install the 9v back-up battery. The panel only measures 15 x 10 x 3cm so is quite unobtrusive but remember, the panel needs to be close to a power socket.

Next select the location for the Door or Window Contacts (perhaps the front door and back door) install the batteries (supplied) and fit into place using the double sided tape provided.

Finally do the same for the Movement Sensor (perhaps in the living room) which also comes with double sided tape but you have the option of fitting this detector using a swivel bracket included if you prefer. When turned 'ON' there is a 10 second Exit delay before the alarm is set. After that, if one or more of the sensors is triggered then the alarm will sound an ear piercing 120dB Siren (after a 30 second entry delay). The Siren continues to sound for one minute and then resets itself but instantly goes off again if further detection is made. It couldn't be easier. 

The Movement Sensor is designed to be pet tolerant and will only respond to something weighing over 36Kgs and more then 1m tall. This means that a cat can still present a problem because they tend to climb! (Note that the Movement Sensor will not operate again until 3 minutes have passed.)

What you need: 
A nearby power socket to plug the alarm panel into.  In case of Power Failure there is a 9v battery (supplied) which will keep the system running for a few hours.

We are also offering an autodial unit (see accessories below) that can connect to this item wirelessly which will dial out up to 8 numbers in sequence in the event of an alarm, making this a truly effective house alarm with free monitoring!
